Terms of Service

Welcome to TypeLemon. These terms apply when you use www.typelemon.com and the games on it (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

TypeLemon offers free browser-based typing games, including Solo practice, multiplayer races, Zombie Shooter and Slime Stampede. We may add, change or remove games and features at any time, and the Service may occasionally be unavailable.

2. Accounts and nicknames

• You can play without an account. Some features, such as saved history and leaderboard entries, need you to sign in with Google or use an anonymous account.
• Your nickname is visible to other players and, if you are signed in, on public leaderboards. Do not choose a nickname that is offensive, hateful, misleading, or that impersonates another person or organisation.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. We may rename or remove nicknames and entries that break these terms.

3. Fair play

Leaderboards and races are only meaningful if they are honest. You agree not to:

• use bots, scripts, macros, auto-typers or any other automation to play or to submit scores;
• tamper with, reverse engineer, or send forged requests to our servers or the game code;
• exploit bugs to gain an unfair advantage, or share ways to do so instead of reporting them to us;
• disrupt other players’ races or the operation of the Service, for example by flooding it with requests.

We may remove scores, reset leaderboard entries, or restrict or end access for anyone who we reasonably believe has broken these rules.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service for anything unlawful, to harass or abuse others, or to try to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users’ data or our systems. Do not use the Service in a way that could damage, overload or impair it.

5. Our content and third-party content

The TypeLemon name, site design, game code and original content belong to us and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may play and share links to the Service for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, sell or redistribute the Service or its code without our permission. Some game artwork is created by third parties and used under licence; creators are credited on the relevant game pages.

6. Advertising and third-party services

The Service shows advertising and uses third-party services, including Google Firebase, Google Analytics and Google AdSense. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms and policies. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that scores, rankings and saved data will always be preserved.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TypeLemon and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service at any time, and you can ask us to delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access to the Service for anyone who breaks these terms, or if we discontinue the Service.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above when we do. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the updated terms.
